Showcase 2008 - June 14th

Showcase is our annual studio recital. This event gives your dancer the opportunity to show you, your family and your friends how much he or she has achieved this year.

Saturday June 14th, 2008

Time:

10:00 a.m.  Note: the recital will be about 3 1/2 hours long, plus intermission

Place:

Lemont High School

800 Porter Street, Lemont, IL

Rehearsals:

In-studio rehearsals June 11 - June 13, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

• Monday, June 9 - Act I
• Tuesday June 10 - Act II
• Wednesday,  June 11 -  Finale and large numbers (TBA)

Dress Rehearsal at Lemont High School

• Friday, June 13, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Younger dancers will not have to be at rehearsal the entire time except for dress rehearsal. A detailed schedule will be sent home closer to the recital.  The younger dancers will be assigned a dance buddy at the first rehearsal.  Their dance buddy will be responsible for them in the dressing room during the show.  Adult Monitors will be in the dressing rooms and in the hallways.

Videotapes and DVDs of Showcase 2008 will be available for purchase. Watch this space for details

Class Attendance:

Class attendance is VERY IMPORTANT along with practice at home. Please encourage your student to practice every day. Remember, if your student misses three classes he or she will not be able to participate in the recital.

Important Note:

All tuition and costume fees must be paid by May 30th in order for your student to participate in Showcase 2008.
