Competitions

These are exciting and fulfilling events.  The Center Stage Dance Company from our studio competes against other studios from around the Midwest and beyond. The competitions are judged by professional choreographers, professional dancers and highly regarded dance teachers, many of home are working in Hollywood and New York.

Philosophy

The purpose of the competition is to provide a situation that creates personal growth, the rewards of teamwork and the opportunity to excel.  They are never defined as a measure of a students personal worth.

But as a team we do like to win ... and we do win.

Locations

Most of the competitions are held in the Chicago area, competing with other studios from the Midwest area. Occasionally we will travel regionally, such as to Dayton, Ohio, St. Louis, Missouri and Indianapolis, Indiana.
