Jan Forster

Jan has been dancing since the age of 4 and has taught professionally for 30 years. She has been co-owner of the Center For Dance for the last 16 years and director of the nationally award winning Center Stage Dancers. Jan has appeared in dozens of productions, including Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, Hello Dolly and Carnival. She has choreographed for elementary, high school and university level productions, as well as the Downers Grove Theater Guild and the Performing Arts Theatre Company Dinner Theater. She is also the secretary for the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Jan, in collaboration with Kim Schultz-Moustis, began the Fine Arts Program at St. Mary's School 15 years ago giving children the thrill and love of experiencing live theater.
