Jan Forster

Jan has been dancing since the age of 4 and has taught professionally since 1976. She opened The Center For Dance in 1987 to all interested dancers. She began and directs the nationally award-winning Center Stage Dancers. Jan has appeared in dozens of productions, including Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, Hello Dolly and Carnival. She has choreographed for elementary, high school and university level productions, as well as the Downers Grove Theater Guild and the Performing Arts Theatre Company Dinner Theater. Jan was also a past secretary for the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Jan, in collaboration with Kim Schultz-Moustis, began the Fine Arts Program at St. Mary's School in 1995 giving children the thrill and love of experiencing live theater.
